I published a free knitting pattern for a vest recently which I designed for myself a few months ago, and I just now ordered yarn to make another sample of this pattern... I know I won't be able to cast it on for at least another few months (functionally monogamous knitter here) but I'm excited... I swear last time I finished a marling project I said 'never again' and yet here I am. Planning to do it again. I usually hate stripes but something about marling (and traditional fair isle, for that matter) just appeals to me so much, it's like painting with yarn.

Very cool pattern!! And with a schematic too!!

(I have the opposite issue of Too Much Bust instead, so I don't think I'll be able to make it until I get better at modifying patterns, but cables + colors is such a great combo :D)

thanks for the interest in making my pattern ahahaha someone on tumblr was also saying that they'd like to wait for other ppl's modification for a larger bust. somewhat related, I feel bad that I don't currently have the time to look into grading for different sizes, but when I do I definitely want to update the pattern with some more sizing options.

Oh yeah, absolutely no worries about pattern grading! Every knitter knows their own body shape the best. Hypothetically I'll add a bust dart/panel to add 20 cm around the bust somehow and gradually decrease it back down to the original proportions for waist. But I've only done small/flat items, so it's all 云改造

I just added you back on Ravelry! I only use it to find patterns and log finished projects (←and not even that, there's at least one hat missing from my projects), but I do lurk there :DDD I've done a lot of lace bcs it keep me focused, but I've just started doing more colorwork and cables XD

Oooh that reminds me, I saw this video by Knicoleknits recently and she specifically talks about modifying sweaters for a larger bust. You may have already heard of these tips though if you've looked into it before!
