This post is going to be unlocked. Interesting things happened since the last time I posted here!!

• Sang at Figgy Pudding with my a cappella group on Saturday 12/06. Some songs in our set went better than others but we held the crowd (yay!) and raised a hell lot of money for the PMSC-FB (yay!!). Lunch together, then went to Central Library on the 4th.
• Later in Saturday evening some of us in the group got together again to watch a local production of Frankenstein, because our friend was playing Frankenstein's monster. It was definitely an experience to see someone you know howling and crawling around on stage! Made me feel emotions™. I also thought about about how curtain calls are basically after-care for theatre. For the length of the show, the audience come to see the actors as the character and allow the show to take your emotions to places. Then the actors come out in the end, still in half-costume but as themselves, to farewell the audience, so that you can come down into the real world. <- Something like that.

  ...After the show I grabbed dinner (again) with friends and went home pretty late. It was a lot of socializing on Saturday.

• If everything goes well, I will be going to Amsterdam next spring. Currently in visa application hell. Need to gather documents, need to book flights, need to go down to SF pretty soon, ARGHHHH! Hopefully the bureaucracy stuff goes smoothly and the experience will be worth it.
